James takes delivery of his Renault Clio Junior Cup car.

James places an order with R Sport for a new Renault Clio Junior Cup car, this is no ordinary high spec road car it features the same race engine as the senior Clio cup car, race suspension and downloadable data port with flappy paddle gear change. This is a serious race car that with a low cost conversion package can be upgraded to a senior Clio Cup Car when James is 16.

James smashes the lap record by 0.127 seconds to 32.600 at Team sport Nottingham not just once but 3 times and equals it twice in a 45 minuete 16 grid race. Starting near the back and laping sometimes more than once every other driver but one (his friend Patrick) out of 89 laps 32 were under 33 seconds while only one of his opponents acheved a single lap under 33 seconds (32.956). James average lap time of 33.321 may also be the fastest average (records are being checked). The grid included 3 previous lap record holders so this was no small acheivment.

James aquires his first car a Clio 182 cup sport from Finsport in Lincoln. James will use this car for his initial conversion training from karts to cars.
